I saw it yesterday, and I squeed and geeked my way through the whole film.
For the most part, I was impressed. Some of it was like- What? Urban had one poorly placed line, that just slapped me it was so poorly placed. Not delivered badly? But just kinda like "we have to get this line in, put it.....here"- like. Which whatever, points for trying.
Scottie? Ooooh Such love.
Actually I have to say that the whole cast was like watching them as kids. Very believable as being them. I liked the tie ins to the pilot, and hee. Yes, it was just love. Spock Kirk show down? As awesome with Pine and Sylar as it was with Shatner and Nimoy in the series. Spock totes kicks ass.
I was way too giddy at seeing Nimoy too. Sorry. I was so much in love with Spock and Bones from the original Movies/Series. I really want the movies too, but damn have you seen how much they cost lately?
awesomely though? Totes expect new box sets to come out now. :D :D :D
Will have to con mom into rescuing original movies from Obscurity. My nieces and nephew need to know what sci-fi geekery really is. :D
