I have a concern that stems to a current situation on Livejournal. On Tuesday my account was suspended without notice. Some hours after I made an inquiry to the LiveJournal's Abuse team, I received an email explaining why. According to Livejournal I was allowing a suspended user to use my accounts to access the Livejournal site.
This was not something that was done with my consent, or my knowledge. And while Livejournal replied with the implication that I might receive some help if I resecure my journals and report unknown IP addresses to the Abuse Team, I have been stuck waiting for sometime to discover if I will have my journals restored.
So here is my concern. Will InsaneJournal be enforce its own policies in the same: "Guilty until proven innocent" method. My experience with Livejournal has left me sore, obviously, and I simply would like to know what protection I have from this sort of extreme punishment, and harassment.
